Both work well, it depends on what matters more to you. A microSD card keeps everything stored locally in the camera, no ongoing account needed. Cloud storage keeps your recordings accessible even if the camera itself is ever damaged or stolen. We talk through which fits your situation when you get in touch and set it up for you on installation day.

The cameras come with a manufacturer warranty that covers defects in the device, the antenna, and the power supply for two years from purchase. That is the manufacturer standing behind the hardware. It does not cover damage from misuse, accidental damage, or issues caused by an incorrect installation. Full Shield installs everything to spec, but the warranty itself is between you and the manufacturer.

We position cameras to cover your property, not theirs. Where a camera could pick up part of a neighbouring garden or a shared path, we set up privacy zones that black out those areas from the feed. That is a practical step to respect your neighbours. It is not a legal sign-off, but it is something we include as part of every install where it is relevant.

The ICO has guidance for homeowners using CCTV, mainly around not capturing more of a neighbour's property than necessary. Privacy zone masking helps with that, and it's something we can talk through during setup.
